We are excited to offer a variety of summer camp style therapy groups this summer! Below are the details and descriptions of each group. Regisrtation fee for all camps is $300
All of our camps are located in Warrenville at:

Language and Literacy Camp- Kinder
Must be in Kindergarten in the fall
Target participant: students who may already receive speech and language services, have delayed language skills, have an IEP, would benefit from exposure to group participation and language/literacy topics during the summer months
Camp focuses will be based on changing, weekly book themes expanding on literacy, vocabulary, language use and expansion/growth
Therapy targets: receptive/expressive language skills, literacy components including letter identification, phonemic awareness, comprehension, fluency, phonics, and vocabulary.
Will be held on Tuesdays
Camp dates: July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
Will run in 2 different time groups: 9:30 am-10:30 am and 11:00 am-12:00pm
Each group section will have a maximum of 5 participants
Artic and Language Camp- 1st/2nd Grade
Must be in 1st or 2nd grade in the fall
Target participant: students who may already receive speech and language services for language skills or articulation skills, have delayed language skills, have an IEP, would benefit from exposure to group participation and continued speech therapy during the summer months
Camp focuses will be based on weekly themes that may include a story/book, a craft, a hands on or sensory activity and a game while expanding on language use/growth and a variety of targeted articulation/speech sound practice
Therapy targets: receptive/expressive language skills, vocabulary, articulation/speech sounds
Will be held on Thursdays (except the first week due to July 4th holiday)
Camp dates: July 3rd, 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st
Will run in 2 different time groups: 10:00 am-11:00 am and 11:15 am-12:15 pm
Each group section will have a maximum of 5 participants
Summer Socials- Middle School
Must be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall
Target participant: students who may already receive speech and language services for social/pragmatic language skills, have diagnosis that impact their social communication, have an IEP, would benefit from exposure to group participation and continued speech therapy during the summer months
Camp focuses will be based on social communications skills including: conversational skills, perspective taking, friendships, on/off topic, social problem solving and much more!
Therapy targets: social communication, pragmatic language
Will be held on Tuesdays
Camp dates: July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
Will run 1:00 pm -2:00 pm
Maximum participants 8
Participants must be independent in daily functioning/tasks such as mobility, bathrooming, emotional/behavioral regulation and feeding
Summer Socials- High School
Must be in high school in the fall, 9-12 grade
Target participant: students who may already receive speech and language services for social/pragmatic language skills, have diagnosis that impact their social communication, have an IEP, would benefit from exposure to group participation and continued speech therapy during the summer months
Camp focuses will be based on social communications skills including: conversational skills, perspective taking, friendships, on/off topic, social problem solving and much more!
Therapy targets: social communication, pragmatic language
Will be held on Thursdays (except the first week due to July 4th holiday)
Camp dates: July 3rd, 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st
Will run 3:00 pm -4:00 pm
Maximum participants 8
Participants must be independent in daily functioning/tasks such as mobility, bathrooming, emotional/behavioral regulation and feeding
Summer Socials- Young Adult
Must be 18+
Target participant: individuals who may already receive speech and language services for social/pragmatic language skills or have in the past, have diagnosis that impact their social communication, have/had an IEP, participate in or previously were enrolled in a Vocational/Transition program, would benefit from exposure to group participation and continued speech therapy during the summer months
Camp focuses will be based on social communications skills and generalizing these skills through group activities, games, and social experiences. Skills discussed may include conversational skills, social problem solving, communication expectations in various settings, and more. This group will split its time between reviewing/discussing skills and practicing/applying skills in realtime to highlight opportunities for socialization. This group will have the opportunity to participate in additional social experiences such as movie night, going to a restaurant, etc.
Therapy targets: social communication, pragmatic language
Will be held on Thursdays
Camp dates: July 3rd, 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st (except for the first week due to July 4th holiday)
Will run 4:00 pm -5:00 pm
Maximum participants 8
Participants must be independent in daily functioning/tasks such as mobility, bathrooming, emotional/behavioral regulation and feeding
